Airtel 4G - Disastrous start / Customer service & reception of network. Do not buy!

Hello People,

Thank you for visiting my blog!
I got my new USIM for Airtel 4G & the settings were sent to my mobile & I got the signal later on my iPhone.
When I changed my cellular internet setting to LTE it first said that the provider doesn't support LTE.
Then it started to connect & do you know what happened next.
I got the EDGE/GPRS speed & E besides the signal bars of my phone.
Pathetic!!!
I restarted my phone & removed the sim card & reinsrted but I still get 2G speed.
I then transferred the sim card in my android phone which earlier had the Airtel sim & got good 3G speeds but now it also showed 2G speed.
I have the data roaming setting on for both phones but no effect.
I tried calling customer service 3 times on 3 different days but they still say they are working on it & say that someone will call.
I haven't received any call yet & no resolution!
Airtel has tested the 4G in India for little over a year but still pathetic at it.
Do not go for 4G from Airtel!

Please let me know your comments or suggestions if any. I would like to know what were your experiences & what you guys feel about the subject.

Cheers!

Hello People!

Thanks for visiting my blog!
There are quite a few reasons why you'd want to store food without a refrigerator. The operating expenses for a refrigerator are quite huge with the refrigerator itself making a gaping hole in your pocket. If you do not have too much money spend on the refrigerator for the time being, these methods to store food without a refrigerator are effective enough. Meat and dairy products cannot really be stored without a refrigerator. It is a difficult proposition. So they are a different story. However, it is possible to store fruits and vegetables and other ingredients of daily use that require storage. In this article, we look at some ways to store food without a fridge. These are proven ways to store food without letting it to degrade in quality. Let us look at these ways to store food without a fridge.
Read on.....
Bowl Of Water
A good way to store vegetables and other foods is to keep the food in a bowl of water. Cold water is preferable in this regard. Vegetables do not get spoilt when stored in water. However, make sure you consume them in the next couple of days, for this form of storage cannot keep them fresh for too long.
Under Chill Air This is another way to store food without a fridge. You can keep your food under the influence of chill air. Chill air can keep the food fresh for a good amount of time. Keeping food in a cover by the window at night is a good way to go about this.
Bowl Of Ice
Keeping food in a bowl of ice will keep them fresh for a long time. You can purchase ice packs in your nearby market. It works out cheap as much as it is effective in storing food. It isn't just fruits or vegetables that can be stored in this fashion. Several other foods can be stored like this too.
Drying
Certain foods can be stored by way of drying them under the sun. But, this method is confined to only certain types of foods and not your conventional fruits and vegetables. Please try the above methods & let me know if they helped you.

UPDATE: My latest Interior Designing project & Pics of the cafe

Hello Beautiful People!

How are you doing today? Thank you so much for visiting my Blog!
I am pretty excited to share some important updates about my latest Interior Designing project that I completed but still the owner's appliances & food articles were yet to arrive when I snapped the below pictures.
I have captured some good snaps for all you people to look at.
I need your encouragement & support & honest opinions about how do you guys think the Cafe looks like.
I candidly took some pictures which I'm sharing for you guys to check out.
We used LED lights all over for false ceiling & gave electrical points for speakers, Music system, Owen & Air Conditioner (AC).
I couldn't get a close pic of the cash counter & the area along the side as people were working there.
Please comment on this article or any valuable suggestions are welcome!

We also showcased my sister's canvas paintings for the cafe.
We actually thought of putting up Swapna's Mural Art or Cartoon characters representing Cafe toons but later on the client only wanted paintings. As we all know Customer is the King!
I couldn't get a close glimpse of the paintings from the wall but here it is.

Here is a closer look at the other side of the cafe where they will make stuff....

I will post some more pics tomorrow........
Please do let me know if you liked it or not?
Please comment & like this blog!

Micromax Canvas Nitro 2 Mobile phone review

Hello People....

I bought the new Micromax Canvas Nitro 2 Black & Silver version.

PRICE: Price printed on the box is Rs. 12499. I got the best deal on ebay.in somehow & got it for Rs 9995/-.

The Box is simple but sturdy.

Build & Phone: The build of the phone is good. It has a plastic back panel which can be removed for inserting 2 micro Sim cards &  SD card upto 32 GB.
The placements of the buttons is on the right hand side of the device where you have the volume rockers & power on/off button.
You have the 3.5 mm jack on the top of the device & charging/data syncing port on the bottom along with the main microphone.

Battery: The phone houses a 2400 MaH battery which is decent but I could hardly get a day worth charge. I have to charge the phone twice everyday.

Connectivity: The phone supports dual sim cards. Only sim 1 supports 3G& the other only supports 2G. It also has Bluetooth 4.0 & GPRS & Radio. It connects to WiFi bgn 80.11.

Call Quality: The cell phone reception of the signal is good. Call quality was above average as callers could hear me loud & clear & I could hear them fine from the earpiece. Overall I was happy with the call quality. There is no secondary noise cancelling microphone available for this model.

Screen: This phone features a 5 inch 720 p resolution screen. The screen is vivid & display & brightness is good. Videos are enjoyable. I just want to mention that while playing games the device tends to become hot & may go upto 42 degrees. FYI.

Camera: The front facing camera is a selfie one which has  5 megapixel shooter & the rear is a 13 megapixel shooter. Both are decent but the rear camera could be an improved lens & takes some average quality shots. Photos in daylight have details but night shots have too much noise & pixelation which doesn't look like a 13 MP camera.

The back panel feels premium & feels just like the Yu Yureka.

Conclusion: If you want a budget phone with 3G speed & good resolution you can go for this phone.
The phone feels premium in the hand & display sharpness is good. Good call quality & speakers are average. You do have a notification led on the from of the phone.

Please let me know your thoughts on this.....Ciao.....
Please comment below as it would help me improve my reviews & also encourage me.

Cheers....

Home Decor & Lighting.....Interior designing

Hello World,

Thank you for visiting my blog!
This is Architect Jyoti Kaulgud.
We all know that Home Decor & lighting work hand in hand to create a beautiful & lasting effect on people who come to our house & to it's owners.
We need to seriously think about what furniture do we put & how would be the lighting for that particular room.
Both these things should be in harmony with each other & should compliment each other.
Specially for entrance hall people prefer warm white kinda lighting as it soothing & calming for the guests who arrive at your home.
The lighting should be appropriate & shouldn't be under-lit either or else whole purpose is lost.
Please be choosy while selecting your lamp shades & try to get some vibrant & different ones, this will add a spark to your room's decor.

I'm attaching a samples of lighting effect & a lamp shade.

Please comment & let me know what you think about this topic.
Your honest feedback will help me improve my content & blog value!

Cheers!

Ask me how! Kitchen tricks & tips....

Hello,

Thanks for visiting my blog.
Today I will be giving some tips & tricks for kitchens.

Working in kitchen can really be fun if you know some basic keys. Here are some special tips to make your work interesting and comfortable.
1. To remove the skin of almonds easily, soak them in hot water for 15-20 minutes.
2. Putting 3-4 cloves in sugar container will keep the ants at bay.
3. If you keep a piece of blotting paper at the bottom of the container, it will keep biscuits fresh for a longer time.
4. Avoid the use of butter. It it is essential to use, use a butter containing low saturated fat or with plant stanols (which avoid absorption of cholesterol by our body) or similar substitutes.
5. Apply some lemon juice on the cut surface of the apple to avoid browning. They will look fresh for a longer time.
6. Apply mashed banana over a burn on your body for cooling effect.
7. Apply a mixture of 1 pinch of chewing tobacco and 1 drop of water. Mix and apply directly and immediately to the sting; cover with bandaid to hold in place. Pain will go away in just a few short minutes.
8. Slit karelas at the middle and apply a mixture of salt, wheat flour and curd all round. Keep aside for ½ hour and then cook.
9. To keep celery fresh for a long time, wrap it in aluminium foil and place in the refrigerator.
10. Place some chopped onion in the vessel having burnt food, pour boiling water in it, keep 5 minutes and then clean.
11. Keeping a small piece of hing (asafoetida) in the same container will store chili powder for long time.
12. Use a wooden board to chop. It will not blunt the knife. Don`t use a plastic board, small plastic pieces may go with the vegetables.
13. You can use dried coriander and mint leaves in coarse powder form in vegetable curry or chutney, if fresh ones are not available. To keep them fresh for longer time, wrap them in a muslin cloth and keep in a fridge. 14. Put some boric powder in kitchen in corners and other places. Cockroaches will leave your house.
15. Immerse coconut in water for ½ an hour to remove its hust.
16. Keep a cut Lemon in the fridge for that food odour to go away!
17. Also you may keep a slice of bread for foul smell to vanish from your refridgerator.

Please comment if you have any questions or suggestions.
